MK Dons got one over their bitter rivals as they ran out 2-0 winners at AFC Wimbledon on Friday night.

The Dons were given a typically hostile reception, but first-half goals from two of their loan stars soon silenced the home crowd.

Southampton loanee Ryan Seager put Robbie Neilson's side ahead within the first ten minutes, before Nottingham Forest winger Gboly Ariyibi doubled their advantage.

AFC did have a golden chance to find a way back into the game when they were awarded a penalty after the break, but Lyle Taylor saw his spot-kick saved by Lee Nicholls.

The victory for the Dons was a role reversal of last season's visit to Kingsmeadow, where AFC won 2-0.
