The search is on for the best park in Britain and you can nominate the favourite green space near you.

National charity Fields in Trust have launched a campaign to find the UK's Best Park.

The award is open to all public green spaces across the UK through a simple online nomination.

Nominations must be in by 5pm on Friday 13 October.

Voting is open from 9am on Saturday 14 October until 5pm on Friday 3 November

Parks in the Anglia region have been nominated as the best in Britain

  • Catton Park near Norwich
  • Corby Sculture Park in Northamptonshire
  • Daventry Country Park in Northamptonshire
  • Gadebridge Park in Hemel Hemstead
  • Halstead Public Gardens in Essex
  • Holywells Park in Ipswich
  • Nene Park in Peterborough
  • Ramsey War Memorial Recreation Ground near Harwich, Essex
  • Stockbridge Meadows in Melbourn near Royston
  • Stockwood Park in Luton
  • Swanspool Gardens in Wellingborough
  • The Walks in King's Lynn, Norfolk
  • Train Wood in Norwich
  • Wardown Park in Luton
  • Wigmore Valley Park in Luton
