Essex bowler Jamie Porter has been named the Cricket Writers' Club County Championship Player of the Year.
The 24-year-old took 75 wickets as Essex stormed to the Division One title.
Essex teammate Dan Lawrence picked up the young player of the year prize for his contribution in which he scored more than 800 runs at an average of just over 40.
Both Porter and Lawrence have been selected for the England Lions squad to tour Australia this winter, alongside batsman Tom Westley.
All three players helped Essex upset the odds to claim the County Championship title, having only been promoted from Division Two the season before.
