A police cordon around an area to the north of Norwich has been removed. Armed police were called to the Silver Road area late this afternoon and taped off an area from the Prince of Denmark pub to the Crusty Corner bakery for two hours.
The incident caused heavy traffic to build up during the rush hour in the area.
It's understood a house was searched. Norfolk Police now say armed officers were called in after concerns about a man in Silver Road. A house was searched but there have been no arrests and no-one was hurt.
