James Stewart, served as the principal of Sawtry Community College for almost 30 years before leaving it disgrace and special measures.
The 72-year-old had used school money to pay hotel bar bills, fund ski trips, and gave himself pay rises.
Earlier this year, the former vice principal Alan Stevens, 64, pleaded guilty to two counts of fraud by abuse of position relating to expenses claims. He was given a two year suspended sentence.
Criminal charges were brought against the pair in December 2014.
Stewart resigned in July 2014. He pleaded guilty to charges brought against him, including one misconduct in public office charge that stated he regularly had sex with an adult in his college office specially modified for this habit. Stewart also pleaded guilty to a number of counts of fraud.
After sentencing today Sawtry Community College says it's made a number of improvements since this came to light in 2014.
