James Maddison's goal in Norwich City's 1-0 win over Middlesbrough was voted the best strike in the Championship for September.
The young midfielder has impressed City fans since the start of the season with his fine displays and in particular stunning strikes through the month of Septemeber.
It was his goal at The Riverside Stadium that picked up the award but his free-kick in City's win at Reading was equally impressive.
It wasn't just a good month for Maddison but Norwich City too, the Canaries have now gone 7 games unbeaten in the league and have climbed to 9th in the League.
Maddison said: "Obviously it was a nice strike and it was a winning strike which made it extra special and won us the three points, it's certainly one I won't be forgetting.
"To get the recognition from the fans who thought the goal was the best in the month, sometimes you have to step back and give yourself a pat on the back."
Norwich's Head Coach Daniel Farke said the award was well deserved, particularly after Maddison has acquitted himself both in training and in recent performances
"When you work really concentrated and really focussed, and really hard, you always earn the benefits.
"Sometimes you have to wait a little bit but you will one hundred per cent earn the benefit, and that's what he does right now.
"It's nice, he totally deserves it but it's also important to go further."
The Canaries take on Hull City at Carrow Road on Saturday 14th October in their next EFL Championship match.
