A school in Cambridge is pioneering the used of a mixed toilet area for both boys and girls to help cut bullying, fighting and smoking.
Pupils at North Cambridge Academy use open-plan toilet cubicles which adjoin a communal hand-washing area.
Some parents have expressed concern they don't give children enough privacy.
The school says it means areas that are normally difficult to supervise are now more visible. It also says the arrangement has helped to raise standards in the school.
