A military veteran from Stowmarket in Suffolk says he's been left saddened after a coat with his war medals was taken after a parade on Remembrance Sunday.
David McGee served with the military for 31 years.
He wore the medals to the service on Sunday and went to the Royal British Legion after the ceremony.
David hopes it was an innocent mistake and says he just wants the medals back.
He says they are a source of great pride for him and his family.
David's daughter Samantha Crawford has put out an appeal on social media for the medals to be returned.
She said: "Need everyone's help.....if anybody was at remembrance services in Stowmarket yesterday especially that went to the British legion after service, can they please check to see that they picked up the right coat, as my dad's was accidentally taken and it had his medals in the pocket. Please help me find them"
The family are asking anyone who was at the service to check their coats.
They say it could have been accidentally, and all they want is the medals to be returned to their rightful owner.
