Crews are working against the clock this weekend to repair damaged bridges over the A47 in King's Lynn.
Crews had to lift up the bridges at the Saddlebow interchange to dig out damaged beams, remove the concrete and replace the beams on each bridge.
In order to do this, Highways England have had to close the A47 in both directions beneath the bridges from Friday, November 17 until 6am on Monday, November 20.
The damage is costing £3.1 million to put right. The work is part of a wider £18 million package of work to maintain the A47 in Norfolk, which consists of around 70 different schemes on the A47 alone.
