A children's charity is appealing for donations to help them support parents who have poorly children this Christmas.

The Sick Children's Trust provides accommodation close to hospitals so family members can stay nearby while their children are having treatment.

They've launched a fundraising video campaign to raise awareness of what they do and hopefully get some donations too.

"Nobody wishes that their child was in hospital in Christmas but we do our best to try and make it as nice for them as we can. Lots of festive nibbles for when they come back from the wards and we just go on supporting them as we do throughout the year."
