There was a double celebration for Cambridge University at Twickenham as both the men and women recorded victories in this year's Varsity matches.
The women were after revenge after being narrowly beaten in a dour encounter last year, and they got their wish - running in four tries without reply to seal a 24-0 victory.
Jess Gurney, captain Lara Gibson, Kate Marks and Bluebell Nicholls all went over for the Light Blues in what was the 31st Varsity meeting between the two sides.
The men also tasted victory thanks to a hard-fought 20-10 win.
The game was evenly matched throughout, but the Light Blues pulled away with ten minutes to go thanks to Charlie Amesbury's late try.
Earlier tries from Chris Bell and Archie Russell, brother of Scotland star Finn, had put them in a commanding position, but Will Wilson reduced the deficit to makes things interesting.
It means Cambridge have now won the last two Varsity games following a prior run of six defeats on the trot.
