Two controversial waste treatment plants are planned for the outskirts the village of Warboys, Cambridgeshire.
Developers want to build facilities to burn waste wood and process polluted water. They would be on part of what is currently a recycling site at Warboys which is near Huntingdon.
But residents say some of the technology is untested in this country and that large numbers of lorries would be using unsuitable Fenland roads.
