MK Dons' League One clash at Bradford City has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

The game was called off shortly after 1pm after referee Ben Toner carried out an inspection.

Some fans took to Twitter to vent their anger at the timing of the postponement, with many Dons' supporters having already made it to Bradford ahead of a scheduled 3pm kick-off.

Groundstaff had been trying to remove water from the pitch at the Northern Commercials Stadium throughout the morning, but the heavy rain in the area didn't relent.

A new date for the fixture hasn't been decided yet.
