It's been announced that the world famous aerobatics team The Red Arrows will headline the inaugural Great Yarmouth Air Show this summer.
The Royal Air Force have revealed the crack team will headline both days of the event which is due to take place on the seafront on June 16 and 17.
The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, which will include a display from a Lancaster heavy bomber accompanied by a Spitfire and a Hurricane, will also be taking part over the weekend.
Organisers are confident the air show will generate an extra £10m for the local economy, with 170,000 people expected to attend.
Last year's show was cancelled due to spiralling safety costs.
“This is the icing on the cake for what is shaping up to be a brilliant line-up for the Great Yarmouth Air Show,” said show director Asa Morrison.
“We weren’t sure that the Red Arrows would be able to come to Yarmouth following the fatal accident involving one of the team’s Hawk aircraft in Anglesey earlier this month.
"They are a very close-knit team but they have decided to proceed with their 2018 programme and we are deeply grateful that they have agreed to include a two-day visit to Great Yarmouth.”
