Troops from Prince Harry's former base in Suffolk have been preparing for their role in the Royal Wedding this month.

Troops from Wattisham will be parading around Windsor Castle when he marries Meghan Markle on the 19th May.

Prince Harry served with the Army Air Corps at Wattisham between May 2011 and January 2014. He arrived here for his Conversion to Role training with 656 Squadron on the Apache helicopter.

I was lucky enough in 2010 and 2011 to work with his royal highness and to have the privilege and honour to be there on his wedding day is going to be great. he's a great bloke and by all accounts a good pilot as well. He conversed with the junior ranks as well as the senior ranks and commanded a lot of respect.
