She was on the trail of a much bigger beast - the demon dog Black Shuck who inspired one of the most famous books of all time.
ITV News Anglia presenter Russell Hookey was out in Northamptonshire and Bedfordshire with his dog Jack where they met some interesting characters along the way.
They began their day with a waterside walk along the Grand Union Canal at Stoke Bruerne between Northampton and Milton Keynes.
