A month on from the biggest rail timetable shakeup in a generation and commuters say they are still facing delays and cancellations.

Govia Thameslink Railway operates Thameslink, Great Northern and Southern trains in our region... all three lines are still not running smoothly and there are claims the process to get compensation isn't good enough.

This week has been the worst week so far I would say, it's incredibly stressful there are still last minute cancellations and delays... people are late to work and by week five the anxiety really is mounting... on Tuesday I had a panic attack in St Pancras station on the platform because the pressure of everything was just too much the level of uncertainty is beyond being a bit flexible - it's just absolutely overwhelming."

Charles Horton, who resigned as GTR chief executive last week, said he recognised the frustrations of rail passengers. Patrick Viewer, former managing director of London Midland, will take over the role next month.

We are very sorry for the continued disruption. We are re-planning how we use trains and train crew to deliver a new fixed, interim timetable in July that will prioritise peak trains and reduce service gaps, progressively delivering improvement.
