"We come here every year, it's a very important date to me. I like the weather, I don't like the rain, so if it's pouring with rain it spoils the day but when it's like this it's wonderful."

"This is my first time here, I've come from Diss, really looking forward to my day and all prepared for the nice hot weather."

For the first time the annual agricultural show is opening in the evening until 10pm with live music and entertainment as part of 'Jimmy's Festival'.

More than 80,000 visitors expected over the two day event.

Show organisers says they are prepared for the heat and has plenty of water on site along with St John Ambulance with their 'cycle response units.'

"A big event like this we always look at the weather, we cover this event every year, it's a regular event of ours so we know what capacity we have and look back at recent years and just make sure our first aiders are all prepared for whatever the weather brings, last year it was raining so we weren't very busy, this year we'll just see what the weather brings."
