Four crews were called to the scene and used slings and spreading equipment to safely lift Jo Jo to safety.

“This was a complex rescue made more challenging by the heat. The crews worked very hard to ensure Jo-Jo was kept calm and was able to be rescued safely. With the help of Sophie from the Cambridge Equine Hospital for sedation, and Michael from Burwash Manor Farm who supplied a teleporter, we were able to swiftly and safely release Jo-Jo from the bridge with no injuries. I would like to give a big thanks to both for their support.”
