Liz Truss has visited a bakery in Dunstable to reassure workers about the government's Brexit plans.

The Chief Secretary to the Treasury used the opportunity at Signature Flatbreads to claim the Government's Brexit and Trade deals will give businesses more opportunities with the rest of the world.

"Selling Bedfordshire naan bread to India, of all places, would once have been unthinkable.

"It's this type of entrepreneurial, and go-getting, spirit that will help the UK make a success of this once in a lifetime opportunity to reshape Britain."

Exports from The East of England are worth £29 billion a year.

However other businesses in the region, like Ecotile Flooring, a worried about access to workers and possible trade tariffs.
