Peterborough United duo Steve Evans and Jason Cummings have won the League One Manager and Player of the Month awards for August.
Evans guided Posh to a club record five straight wins in the month to top the early league table, while Scottish striker Cummings scored six goals after moving on loan from Nottingham Forest.
Evans was up against Walsall boss Dean Keates, Sunderland manager Jack Ross and Portsmouth's Kenny Jackett while Cummings saw off competition from Portsmouth's Ronan Curtis, Barnsley defender Dimitri Cavaré and Sunderland midfielder Lynden Gooch.
“We have made a good start, but the season is a long one and we are not getting carried away," Evans said.
"What do I put the start down to? Hard work. The players have worked extremely hard both on the training ground and in matches."
Meanwhile, MK Dons boss Paul Tisdale missed out on the League Two award with Lincoln City's Danny Cowley picking up the prize instead.
