Police appeal after sheep killed by vehicle in Cambridgeshire

Police are appealing for information after 8 sheep were killed and two others had to be put to sleep.

The animals were hit by a vehicle which drove through a fence at Two Pot Farm, near Wilburton in Cambridgeshire.

It happened between 4pm on Saturday and 9am on Sunday.

The farm owner Louise Flint took pictures of the aftermath and wants to share them to help catch the person responsible.

Louise and her husband will have to pay about £100 per sheep for them to be incinerated.

The total cost of the incident to the farm is likely to be £2,500.
