The latest quarterly figures for the three months to May reveal that 203,000 people are out of work in the East of England, a rise of 1,000 on the previous quarter.
However the figures are lower than last month.

The latest unemployment figures show a rise of 1,000 people out of work in the East of England. The latest quarterly figure for the East of England stands at 203,000.
In the East Midlands, which includes Northamptonshire, the jobless total was 193,000 in the three months to May, that's up 3,000 on the previous quarter.
