Suffolk MP supports PM's toll road plan
The West Suffolk MP Matthew Hancock says we need to find innovative ways to fund improvements on the road network like the Prime Minister's idea for new toll roads run by private companies.
The Conservative MP says it could work on new developments but not on existing roads like the A11 which is soon to be made a dual carriageway at Elveden in Suffolk. But he said a toll lane could be added to congested routes like the A14 and said it would be a boost to the economy.
