Oakes absent for verdict

The jury has found David Oakes guilty of the murder of his former-partner Christine Chambers and their daughter Shania after nearly nine hours of deliberation.

Oakes, of Canney Road, Steeple, Essex, missed large parts of the trail, and was not in court to hear the verdict.
