A trial date has been set for the 18 year old footballer accused of the murder of Megan-Leigh Peat in Ampthill, Bedfordshire. Andrew Hall appeared at Luton Crown Court today/Friday via a videolink to the prison, where he is being held on remand.
The murder charge was not put to him, but Judge Richard Foster set a provisional trial date of October 30 at Luton Crown Court. Hall, of Robin Close, Flitwick in Bedfordshire, was dressed in tracksuit bottoms and a polo shirt, with his left hand heavily bandaged.
He was remanded in custody and did not make an application for bail. He will next appear in court on September 10 for a plea hearing.
