More than 700 people were given first aid during the two day V Festival in Chelmsford.
Essex St John Ambulance volunteers treated 752 casualties and took 10 people to hospital during the festivities. More than 120 members of the first aid charity worked during the weekend event.

Tickets to the V-festival have been stolen in a bizarre series of thefts in Chelmsford.
Police have issued a warning after four instances of people having tickets stolen after arranging to sell them to a man on auction websites.
Upon meeting him in the Melbourne area of the town to hand over the tickets, they were confronted by a man on crutches, sporting bandages and plasters on his head. As he took the tickets for inspection and prior to purchasing them, he ran off with them.

We are reminding people of the need to be wary of personal security and that of items they are holding or indeed intending to sell.
The man is further described as being of mixed race, aged in his late teens or early 20s, is of small-medium build and is approximately 5ft 6ins tall.The crimes were all committed yesterday. Anyone with information should call Chelmsford police station on 101.
