Christine Chambers and her daughter Shania were shot dead by Christine's former partner in Braintree last summer.
Today the police watchdog said there'd been systematic failings by Essex Police, who'd failed to follow up a string of complaints Christine had made against her killer.

An investigation's found systematic failings by Essex Police after they failed to take action against a man who went on to murder his former partner and their two-year-old daughter. It happened in Braintree last year.
The Independent Police Complaints Commission said Christine Chambers had made a string of complaints against her killer David Oakes which were not followed up by the force. Serena Sandhu reports.
