Harlow pays funeral tribute to family killed in fire

The funerals have been held for six members of the same family who died in a house fire in Essex.

Hundreds of people followed the cortege as the bodies of Sabah Usmani and her five children were carried in a convoy of hearses from the Harlow Islamic centre to the cemetery.

The husband and father, Dr Abdul Shakoor, the only survivor of last Monday's fire, followed on foot.

Also paying their respects were school friends and teachers of the Shakoor children and members of the emergency services who fought to rescue the family.
