Essex Police believe a number of items were burgled from the Shakoor home after the family went to bed and before the fire which killed 6 members of the same family.
There were two other attempted burglaries in the area.

Essex Police is holding a press conference concerning a house fire in Harlow which killed 6 members of the same family.
Assistant Chief Constable Gary Beautridge and Senior Investigating Officer Det Supt Rob Vinson are joined by Dr Abdul Shakoor, the only survivor of the fire.

Fire father to set up charity
A father whose family died in last week's fire tragedy in Harlow has said he wants to start a charity in their memory to help burn victims.
Dr Abdul Shakoor was speaking at a special memorial service at the town's Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow, where he is a member of staff. Dr Shakoor lost his wife and his five children in the fire.
He attended the service along with family members who had flown in from Pakistan.

The funerals have been held for six members of the same family who died in a house fire in Essex.
Hundreds of people followed the cortege as the bodies of Sabah Usmani and her five children were carried in a convoy of hearses from the Harlow Islamic centre to the cemetery.
The husband and father, Dr Abdul Shakoor, the only survivor of last Monday's fire, followed on foot.
Also paying their respects were school friends and teachers of the Shakoor children and members of the emergency services who fought to rescue the family.
