The former-boyfriend of a 19-year-old mother who was found dead in woodland in Hertfordshire on Sunday has appeared in court charged with her murder.
The man accused of murdering Amelia Arnold made his first appearance in the crown court today.
Jack Wall, 22, appeared at Luton Crown Court via videolink from Peterborough Prison, where he is being held in custody. He is accused or murdering Amelia Arnold who lived in Hadrian's Walk, Stevenage.
He will stand trial next spring.Judge Richard Foster, hearing the case, fixed a date for a plea hearing in February next year.The trial is expected to last 5 days.
Police confirm body found is missing teenager
Police have confirmed that the body found in woodland near Hatfield on Sunday is that of 19-year-old Amelia Arnold.
The post mortem also confirmed that Amelia died as a result of head injuries.
Amelia's boyfriend, 22-year-old Jack Wall from Hadrians Walk in Stevenage, has been charged with murder.
Joseph Potter, 41, from Bletchley has also been charged with perverting the course of justice.

Boyfriend charged with murder
The boyfriend of Amelia Arnold from Stevenage, has been charged with her murder. 22 year old Jack Wall from Hadrians Walk is due before Hatfield Remand Court this morning.
A body, thought to be that of the 19 year old was found in woodland near to Travellers Lane in Hatfield on Sunday.
41 year old Joseph Potter from Bletchley has also been charged with perverting the course of justice.
Man charged with murder of girlfriend
Police have charged a 22 year old man with the murder of his girlfriend, whose body was found in woods in Hatfield. Amelia Arnold, a 19 year old hairdresser, disappeared from the home she shared with Jack Wall, 22, and their young daughter in Hadrian's Walk, Stevenage last Wednesday.
Her body was discovered yesterday (Sunday). After a police appeal, Wall handed himself into the town's police station on Sunday, where he was arrested on suspicion of murder. He was charged with murder this evening (Monday) and will appear before Hatfield Remand Court tomorrow morning (Tuesday).
Another man, Joseph Potter, 41, from Sycamore Lane, Bletchley was arrested earlier and has been charged with perverting the course of justice. Formal identification and a post mortem are to be carried out.

Although formal identification is yet to be carried out, it is believed they have found Amelia.
