Firefighters have been tackling a blaze in a storage yard in Essex involving 160,000 litres of cooking oil.
They were called to the yard at Little Warley near Brentford in the early hours of this morning. At its peak 15 crews were at the scene.
As well as the cooking oil 3,000 litres of diesel were stored on the site. The fire was eventually extinguished just before midday. An investigation will now be held to determine the cause.
A blaze involving 160,000 litres of cooking oil has been brought under control.
More than 60 firefighters were dealing with the incident involving 160,000 litres of cooking oil, 30,000 tonnes of paper and 30,000 litres of diesel.
At 10.40am, the fire service issued a statement saying: "Only small pockets of fire remain"
