Police are investigating several thefts of gas cylinders from ambulances parked at Bedford hospital. There's a stark warning that using the gas could lead to brain damage in the wrong hands.
There have been four thefts recently with the offenders targeting ambulances that have pulled up outside the Accident & Emergency Department of Bedford hospital in Ampthill Road, Bedford.
Sergeant Mick Case, who is investigating the thefts, is keen to speak with anyone with information on the police non-emergency number 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
