Police investigating the death of a teacher who went missing from her home in Bedford say they are not treating her death as suspicious.
Leda Bolden's body was found in the River Great Ouse near the Priory Marina. It is not yet known how she died.
Police investigating the case of missing person Leda Bolden have been able to confirm that the body of the woman found in the River Great Ouse yesterday is that of Leda.
Leda’s body was discovered about 4pm in the main River Great Ouse not too far from the Priory Marina by fire officers who were conducting routine boat testing and training on the river.
Police specialist dive teams recovered Leda’s body.
A post mortem has been conducted today. A cause of death is yet to be determined but it is not being treated as suspicious. An inquest will be opened shortly.
A body has been found in Priory Marina in Bedford. The body was discovered at around 4pm yesterday afternoon.
Members of the the Thames Valley Police Diving Unit were called to remove the body. Further details are expected to be released later this morning.
