Stevenage's Gabz Gardiner is to release the song she performed in the final of ITV's Britiain's Got Talent.

The track, called Lighters (The One) is to be issued by Sony Music on June 30 "due to exceptional demand".

The 14-year-old, who finished seventh in the ITV contest which was won by Hungarian shadow dance troupe Attraction, said: "I'm really excited about my single being released, I'm so happy, it's a dream come true."

Stevenage's Gabz Gardiner takes part in tonight's live final of Britain's Got Talent.

The Nobel School student who writes all her own songs was voted into the top three acts by the public.

She'll be one of 11 acts hoping to win the £250,000 first prize and a chance to appear at the Royal Variety Performance.
