A service is being held at Abbotsweld School in Harlow as a memorial is unveiled to the mother and five children killed in an arson attack in Barn Mead last year.

Sabah Usmani, 44, and children Hira, 12, Sohaib ,11, Muneeb, 9, Rayyan, 6, and Maheen, 3, all lost their lives after fire ripped through their end-of-terrace home in the early hours of October 15.

Children from year 1 to year 6 spoke in the service about theirmemories of their friends.

A lasting memorial to five children who died in a house fire in Essex is being unveiled today (Monday)

Five benches at a primary school in Harlow are being unveiled by Dr Abdul Shakoor.

His wife Sabah Usmani and their five children all died in a suspected arson attack last year, Police are treating their deaths as murder. Watch Serena Sandhu's report here:
