A man has appeared in court in Bedfordshire, charged with manslaughter, following a death in a supermarket car park.

65-year-old Alan Watts is accused of killing Brian Holmes, who was knocked to the ground on Saturday 3 August, in an incident at the Asda car park in Biggleswade.

A man has appeared in court in Bedfordshire charged with manslaughter following a death in a supermarket car park.

Alan Watts, 65, is accused of killing Brian Holmes who was knocked to the ground on Saturday 3 August in an incident at the Asda car park in Biggleswade.

A post mortem examination revealed Mr Holmes died from a head injury.

Mr Watts, of Lindsell Crescent, Biggleswade, appeared at Bedford Magistrates' Court and has been bailed to appear at Luton Crown Court later in August. His bail conditions include not driving and not going to Asda.
