The Duke of Edinburgh looked fighting fit as he returned to a first full week of public duties since undergoing surgery in the summer.
The Duke, who is 92, has been in Aylsham in Norfolk to open a centre providing care for the elderly.
And he was given a present for his great grandson Prince George, ahead of his christening later this month.

Prince Philip is taking a tour of St Michael's Care Complex whose services include nursing, residential and dementia care for older people in Aylsham.
Residents will present the royal with a special gift for his great grandson who will be christened later this month.
