The coast road at Walcott in North Norfolk has been closed as the area prepares for a high-water surge this morning.
A decision is set to be made in the next 15 minutes over whether to close the coast road at Walcott in North Norfolk.
The area is currently subject to a flood warning from the environment agency, with a surge forecast for 10.45am.
People are being told to protect themselves and their properties as flood warnings are put in place across the East coast.
The Environment agency says high tides are likely to cause flooding later this morning at Walcott in Norfolk.
There are also alerts in place in other parts of the county as well as Suffolk and Essex.
