A body has been found at the home of a teenager who has been missing since the middle of August. Police say the discovery was found in the overgrown garden of a property at Wenhaston, near Halesworth, in Suffolk.

Police searching for a missing teenager from Suffolk have found a body in his overgrown back garden.

Miller Redpath, 18, went missing from his home in Wenhaston in August.

Suffolk Police said an officer went to the house on Thursday as part of their inquiries and found the body during a search of the garden.

"Officers are currently making inquiries to establish whether this could be the body of Miller Redpath.

"The death continues to be treated as unexplained and a Home Office post-mortem examination is due to take place this afternoon."

Police say the death of a person found in an overgrown garden in Suffolk is not being treated as suspicious.

Officers discovered a body at the home of missing teenager Miller Redpath in Wenhaston on Thursday.

They have not yet been able to identify the body but believe it is that of the 18 year old, who went missing in August.

A spokesman for Suffolk Police said the force had concluded its inquiries at the property.

Body likely to be missing Suffolk teen

Suffolk Police have said early indications suggest a body found at a property in Wenhaston on Thursday is that of 18-year-old Miller Redpath, who has been missing since August 13th.

A post mortem took place yesterday, although no formal identification has taken place.

Police discovered the body in thick undergrowth within the boundaries of Miller's family home.

At this stage the death is still being treated as unexplained.

Police remain at the house this morning as further searches are carried out.

Police remain at the home of a missing Suffolk teenager this lunchtime following the discovery of a body yesterday.

Officers were called to the property in Wenhaston, near Halesworth, at about 1.10pm.

They found a body in the overgrown back garden of the home of 18-year-old Miller Redpath, who has been missing since the middle of August.

A body has been found at the home of a teenager who has been missing since the middle of August.

Police in Suffolk put out an appeal to trace Miller Redpath, from Wenhaston, earlier this month.

A body was found in the overgrown back garden of an address in the village, near Halesworth, at about 1.10pm yesterday.

Suffolk Police said the body had yet to be identified but they did confirm it had been found at Mr Redpath's home address.

The death is being treated as unexplained and an area around the property has been cordoned off while officers investigate.
