A soldier who survived an attack in Afghanistan despite being shot six times in the face has been warned he faces jail after admitting killing his 19-month-old daughter.
Liam Culverhouse, from Kingsthorpe near Northampton, lost his eye in the Afghan attack, which also claimed the life of five of his colleagues.
Today a court in Nottingham heard he attacked his daughter Khloe 18 months after returning home: she died of her injuries later.

A British soldier from Northampton who survived an attack in Afghanistan that left five of his comrades dead is facing jail after he admitted killing his 19-month-old daughter.
25-year-old Lance Corporal Liam Culverhouse was shot in the face during the incident in 2009.
He attacked his daughter Khloe Abrams 18 months later.
Khloe's mother, Clare Abrams, of Abington, Northampton, denied the offence and walked free.
Culverhouse will be sentenced next month.
