Crawley Town defender James Hurst has joined League Two outfit Northampton Town on a month's loan.
The 21-year-old came through the academy system at West Brom, before signing his first professional contract at Portsmouth in 2008.
The right-back joined Crawley last summer after a spell at Icelandic club Valur, but has struggled for first team minutes with the Reds.
Hurst could in line to make his Cobblers debut tomorrow when Northampton travel to Torquay United in a pivotal clash at the bottom of the table.
