A survey has confirmed what most already knew - that the Anglia region has some of the finest rural areas to live in in the entire country.
Eleven districts in the Anglia region are among the top twenty places in the Halifax Quality of Life survey. Uttlesford in Essex, centred on the town of Saffron Walden, comes top.
The survey shows people living in these places are some of the best paid, the most likely to have a job, live in larger houses and suffer less crime.
