Northampton Town manager Chris Wilder is confident his team can take the final step to secure their Football League safety on Saturday.

Having moved out of the bottom two in League Two last weekend, the Cobblers need only a point to ensure survival.

Their final game is against Wilder's old club Oxford United.

But the Cobblers' boss insists the opposition on Saturday at Sixfields doesn't matter.

"Whether it's Oxford, Scunthorpe, Rochdale or anybody, we really do fancy our chances of winning a game of football," he said.

"And we've got a real drive and desire to finish the job off. It's going to take something special to stop us."
