As the build up to the Tour De France continues, Olympic cyclist Emma Pooley has been taking part in a Norfolk cycling festival at the Holkham Estate in North Norfolk.

Olympic cyclist in Norfolk ahead of start of women's tour

Olympic silver medalist Emma Pooley has been in Norfolk this weekend to take part in the Pedal Norfolk Festival at the Holkham Estate.

She took part in the 100 mile ride around the Norfolk countryside, as a warm up to the women's Tour which starts on Wednesday in Northamptonshire.

In the next few weeks, the region is hosting the world's top cyclists. The Tour de France comes to the region and the women's Tour of Britain comes to an end in Bury St Edmunds.

Hundreds of cycling enthusiasts and spectators came to the Holkham Estate for the Pedal Norfolk Festival.

Emma Pooley led off the competitors on the 100 mile sportive, not a race exactly, just an enjoyable ride through the Norfolk countryside.
