The mother of Connor Barrett has paid tribute to her son. Connor, 20, from Great Yarmouth was stabbed at party in Hembsy at the weekend.
His mother Niomi O'Donovan said:
Connor was a loving son, brother, grandson and great grandson. He was also a devoted father to his own son.
"He was loved and liked by many people and will be greatly missed by all. His death will leave a tragic emptiness in so many people’s lives.
"I would like to thank all the people who have offered their support and condolences, which show Connor was a very much liked person by those who knew him.”
Connor's father Lee Barrett said:
“The tragic loss of my son Connor has left myself and the whole family utterly devastated and also a beautiful child fatherless.
"We have been comforted by the amount of wonderful tributes made by family members and friends of Connor.
"Connor was a loving, caring young man and a wonderful father who doted on his son.
"Knowing Connor was loved by so many and touched so many lives has made me extremely proud and grateful to have been a part of my son’s short but full life."
A 17 year old boy charged with a murder in Hemsby has appeared at court.
The youth, from Great Yarmouth, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared at Norwich Youth Court this morning charged with the murder of Connor Barrett, 20, also from Gt Yarmouth, at a party at the weekend.
He was remanded into youth detention to appear at Norwich Crown Court on Monday 19 May.
The police investigation into Connor’s murder, led by the Norfolk and Suffolk Major Investigation Team, continues and seven people arrested in connection with the inquiry remain on police bail.
A 17 year old male has been charged with the murder of 20 year old Connor Barrett.
Connor, from Abyssinia Close, Great Yarmouth, died as a result of stab wounds at Hemsby, near Yarmouth, on Saturday.
The youth, also from Great Yarmouth and who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been remanded in police custody and is due to appear at Norwich Magistrates’ Court.
Seven other people arrested in connection with enquiry remain on police bail pending further enquiries.

A 41 year old man and 35 year old woman arrested at an address in Cobholm, near Yarmouth, on suspicion of assisting an offender, have been bailed pending further enquiries.
A 17 year old arrested on suspicion of murder remains in police custody.
Police have arrested a sixth teenager as part of their enquiries into the murder of a 20 year old man late on Saturday (10 May 2014) in Hemsby, near Great Yarmouth.
A 15 year old from the Yarmouth area was arrested on suspicion of murder and is currently in custody at Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre to be questioned.
Five other teenagers, also arrested in connection with the incident, remain in police custody.
Post mortem results have revealed the victim, who has been named, subject to formal identification procedures, as Connor Barrett, of Abyssinia Road, Great Yarmouth, died as a result of a stab wound.

Police are continuing to question four people about the death of a 20 year old man in Hemsby
Officers were called to a chalet on The Glebe about 11.25 pm last night after reports of a disturbance at a private party.
They found 20 year-old was found with serious injuries to his chest and back. He was taken to the James Paget hospital for treatment but died a short while later.
The death is now the subject of a murder investigation which is being led by the joint Norfolk and Suffolk Major Investigation Team.
Four teenagers were arrested at the scene and remain in police custody at Great Yarmouth.
It is believed that those arrested and the victim are from the Great Yarmouth area.
Police say they will provide high visibility reassurance patrols in the area.
