Major new anti-domestic abuse campaign launched

Essex Police have launched a major new campaign against domestic violence. It's the first time the force has used an online campaign to get to victims and marks the largest campaign of its kind the county has run.

A survivor, not a victim: Essex mum speaks about domestic abuse

As a survivor of domestic violence, Hayley Lowles from Chelmsford knows all about the feelings of shame and isolation abusive relationships can bring.

Last month her ex-partner was jailed for her attempted murder, following a horrific attack.

But now Hayley is rebuilding her life, and told ITV News she wants others in abusive relationships to know that they too can come forward and get help.
