Norwich City have signed highly-rated Falkirk midfielder Conor McGrandles for an undisclosed fee.
The exact cost of the transfer hasn't been revealed by either club, but it's thought that the Canaries have paid in excess of £1million to land the 18-year-old.
Norwich made the decision to move for McGrandles following a recommendation from current Norwich assistant manager Gary Holt, who left Falkirk this summer.
The Bairns have described it as a record sale for them, with McGrandles signing a three-year contract, with the option of a further 12 months, at Carrow Road.
Meanwhile, Norwich could be set to announce another new signing today with the club thought to be closing in on Club Brugge midfielder Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe.
It's understood that the Belgian has now penned a three-year contract after the two clubs agreed a fee of between €4million and €5million.
That fee would rise again if the Canaries gained promotion to the Premier League.
Club Brugge midfielder Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe is heading to England for a medical ahead of a potential move to Norwich City, according to reports in Belgium.
It's thought that the 25-year-old said goodbye to his teammates yesterday.
The Canaries will still need to agree personal terms with the player.
Odjidja-Ofoe has a €7million release clause in his Brugge contract, but it's believed that Norwich would pay more around the €5million mark.
The Canaries have also been heavily linked with highly-rated Falkirk winger Conor McGrandles, but could face late competition from Aston Villa.
Meanwhile, Norwich defender Ryan Bennett is set for a spell on the sidelines.
He underwent surgery yesterday on an ankle injury picked up in Saturday's win over local rivals Ipswich Town.
Club Brugge midfielder Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe will decide in the coming days whether he wants to move to Norwich City.
Talks are thought to be at an advanced stage between the two clubs, but personal terms still need to be agreed with the player.
Odjidja-Ofoe was a second-half substitute in Brugge's 3-1 defeat to Mechelen yesterday, and the 25-year-old was tight-lipped about his future after the game.
