The man who supplied a sawn off shotgun used in another man's attempt to kill a love rival has been jailed.

Atif Ali was shot in the leg as he drove through the town last year.

Shahzad Mahroof hired a man to shoot Mr Ali, because he was in a relationship with Mahroof's ex-girlfriend.

Matthew McCafferty, who's 23, and from Flitwick in Bedfordshire was jailed for 15 years with an extended sentence of five years - meaning he'll be on licence for at least five years after his release.
