There's fresh concern over the reputation of a town's minicab service after an investigation revealed some drivers are operating with criminal convictions.
The Mayor of Milton Keynes Subhan Shafiq stood down this weekend after it emerged he had helped a man who had been jailed for rape and other serious sexual offences gain a minicab license.
The driver operated in the town for three years, and now an investigation has revealed that at least seven other licensed operators with convictions have given Milton Keynes Council cause for concern.
