The Luton airport website reports: "Owing to technical issues with Air Traffic Control, flights in or out of London Luton Airport may be affected.
"Passengers are advised to check in for their flights as normal."
Air traffic control problems are causing some delays at Southend airport but not all flights are affected.
The airport says: "The advice to passengers is to keep an eye on our website, with our live departures board."
Stansted airport in Essex says it is "completely unaffected at the moment" by the air traffic disruption in the South of England.
Thousands of air travellers face delays after air traffic control company Nats experienced "technical problems" at its Hampshire control centre in Swanwick.
The problem led to Nats restricting the number of aircraft flying across the south of England and those taking off from airports.
A Nats spokesman said: "There will be delays, although we are not sure how long they will be."
There's possible disruption to some flights in the south of England due to technical problems with air traffic control.
Because of technical problems at the Swanwick air traffic control centre there are currently restrictions on the number of flights operating across the south of England, which will cause delays to some flights.
London Southend Airport come out top in easyJet’s latest Customer Satisfaction Survey.
The survey, which was conducted across all of easyJet’s airports, asked travellers to rate their travelling experience.
The airline has flown more than half a million passengers from the airport since April 2012.
